The blog is looking great! Very inviting and engaging, our header is especially creative.
I added a couple gadgets to the blog: 1) A list of links that we find particularly helpful/useful and I added the Palomar College Library website as an example. 2) I also added an email subscription box so that people can be notified when something new is added.

My contribution to the blog by Patricia
Hi,
I read that we need to post what we have done for the blog so I decided to start a draft of my part.
I first set a blog as a trial and invited Linda M. because I didn't have my team's emails to add them. I chose a theme and wrote a brief description of my first posting including a video just for enjoyment and as a practice.
Then I created this blog, Timna contacted the rest of the team members and I have been adding them and once they had accepted their invitations I changed their privileges to administrators.
I changed a bit the appearance of the page, widening the blog archive field so we can read the subject and moving to the top the contributors field, after that my team classmates have edited and improved the site a lot!
I also added some content to my profile.

Alice's Contribution (So Far)
Hi everyone,
I finally got up and running (thanks for your help!). I was inspired by the fun bookshelf background and made an illustration for our blog title. Apologies for replacing the existing typeface. It was tricky lining up the image behind it so I substituted with something basic and popped it on there. Hope you like it! (If it's too cutesy or taking up too much space we can always change it.)
Edit: I added a Translate gadget to the sidebar just for fun, and I changed the tabs color to something with more contrast to the text so you can hopefully see the names even more now. "Now with more CONTRAST!" :)

Hi guys,
Just finished updating my contribution to the blog. I decided to change the template and width of the blog. I really liked the background so when I changed the template I made sure that I kept the background. Due to the changes that I made I also had to change the background to the tabs text and background color to be more readable. I think this blog is going to be great! I can't wait to see it change more!

Hello fellow teammates, I am so glad we have got the blog up and running with all of our team members added. I look forward to a great semester of learning alongside each of you.
I chose this "Layout" for our blog as I thought it would create a more streamlined look and the colors were bright but subtle. I chose the bookshelf "Template" for the background on our blog's main background as I wanted something that represented the library since the focus of our class is on libraries. I also changed the font size for our contributor's tab so that all the names are visible and fit in one line.
I worked with Maria Gearhart to find a quote for the blog and then add it in a quotebox to the sidebar. I also worked with Patricia to come up with some words to represent our blog theme and then Monica worked on and created the "Word Cloud". (Note: I initially added the "Title Box" but Alice did some updates and changed the title box which is perfect and makes our blog more personalized. Thanks!)

We are only two members Timna Mizuta and me Ana Patricia Serrate.
I like this video very much, my brother sent it to me as a gift to my starting college again!
I've seen today some arrangements for blogs that work better for me and I will try to modify the theme to achieve a better organizations.
